About
Born Aug 10, 1957 in Gudalajara Jalisco Mexico, Leticia immigrated to Los Angeles with her family when she was seven. She is the eldest of five daughters to Jose and Benita Cervantes.
She lived in ELA, attended Roosevelt High School and CSULA and married Jose Lopez in 1979. She has 4 boys and is currently working on writing more manuscripts.
She is a retired teacher still in love with teaching and teaches English, Theater, Folklorico, History and Chicano Studies to parents and community. Leticia has written, directed, and produced many successful high school and community plays and is also an accomplished poet.
